...needed a little saltwater in my life. Headed here Friday night in a whirlwind to get my fix! (Pete especially enjoyed his time on the boat and "fishing" in tide pools!) This is why I love the state of North Carolina. When you are feeling a little land-locked you can have a quick beach trip!
Had to return home for a party Saturday evening and afterwards I even got to run into Miss. Red & White Preppy, Miss. Well I Do Declare, and Miss. Magnolias and Juleps! Needless to say after my whirlwind weekend, I'm a tired bird! Hope you all had fabulous weekends!

Saltwater and pluff mud...people would disagree but I think that heaven might very well smell like saltwater and pluff mud. The combination can calm my frazzled nerves in a snap.
It was so nice to meet you on Saturday! And thanks for looking out for me when I was sitting outside the bar. For some reason I had it in my head that they weren't letting me back in after I left...I've been going out in DC too long! I love Raleigh :)
