Changes.

We'll I've missed a couple of months now haven't I? To be quite honest I've been doing everything in my power to put one foot in front of another to move forward in every other aspect of my life, just not the interwebs version. And the funny part? I think even my husband misses my little creative spot on the internet! He'll mention things like "want pictures for a blog post?" Ehh, haven't felt like it for a multitude of reasons, but now, with a few changes on the horizon, I do again. So without further adieu, I give you the standard list of where I've been, what I've been up to, and whats to come! {Drum-roll please...}

1. The biggest lack of creative juices flowing has been for one reason: I'm expecting! If you're friends with me on twitter or instagram {@katemnisbet}, you've heard the news. (hint, hint.) We are over the moon excited and are eagerly awaiting the first week of April.

2. #1 has caused me to be dog tired & really sick. Everyone speaks of the magical 2nd trimester energy boost & sickies going away...while I do feel much better, I'm still waiting for that day! Probably for the only time in my life I'm not fretting over feeling sick, after all it is for a great reason.

3. We sold my single girl turned newlywed pad & moved. After a month, I'm finally feeling a little like nesting in the new place. While we miss downtown, we love our new spot & neighborhood.

4. I've been trying my hardest to keep up with my wonderful client projects. I've been moving a little slower than usual but still managing to make strides in the right direction. I cannot wait for a few things to wrap up for photos!

5. After much thought & consideration I'm reclaiming Barefoot in the Park as my personal blog. I'm excited that QA designs is going to help me move Kate Nisbet Designs to it's own site this month. It's been a great run but I really do miss writing about nothing in particular and hearing all sorts of your comments and feedback. Plus, the interwebs is an invaluable resource for baby stuff recommendations and that just doesn't really jive along with interior design tips & pics now does it?

{Baby N's first hike: August 2012}

6. For no other reason that today is our 2nd anniversary and it's the only day in which one can shamelessly share wedding photos...Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband! Cheers to many more!

Hi Kate-

I worked with your mother-in-law Pam a few years ago and I heard all about y'alls wedding for months! Congrats on your new addition. I am expecting a little boy in January and I promise sunny days are on the horizon for you. I felt better around 14-16 weeks. Can't wait to read your fabulous revamped blog!

Okay...here it goes. First off, I've been sporadic lately too and Husband is the same way, nagging me to get back on it. I'm trying to do several posts at once when the mood strikes (like today) :-)
Secondly, congratulations on SO many levels! Pregnancy, moving, anniversary. That's a lot of celebrating! I was dog sick with Lallie, so I know how you feel. It will get better, promise. So happy for you!! :-) Looking forward to reading your continued blog.
