Goating.

 {L: I felt like the pied-piper surrounded by baby goats | R: T's entourage after some breakfast}

You know what happens when you make friends with a goat cheese maker at the farmers market? You may or may not end up leaving your house very early on a Friday morning to go help feed 93 baby goats. Ninety-Three, you read that correctly friends. And they all had names that began with F. Adventures with us are never dull that's for sure!

We arose very early Good Friday morning grabbed a travel mug of coffee and off we went about an hours drive north to Prodigal Farms. As we pulled in the drive we were greeted by some roaming hens and a friendly farm staff. We got right to work toting 5 gallon buckets of milk to the shed to being the feeding process. We had our hands full so pictures were few and far between. The babies ranged in age from 3 days to 3 weeks old and were entertaining little buggers. Most fed off the buckets, with just a couple needing a little TLC and a bottle feeding. It was quite a learning experience. We can't wait for the yummy cheese to come later this spring!
