Sew, Sew, baby...

I saved you from the rap to the tune of "Ice, Ice, Baby" that I was just attempting to come up with in my head. I blame my spin teacher for playing that little beauty this week that will not get out of my head! Now back to the topic on hand: sewing.

I decided that it was high time I stopped being intimidated by a sewing machine and learn how to properly use the tool. I signed up for a 3 week introduction class that meets for several hours on Saturday mornings. I've been to 2/3 classes and think I may have found my "crafting" niche. While learning the basics, so far I've made a pocket tissue holder & a pillow case. I'm pretty proud of my newly learned skill and can't wait to see what I can do next!

Have you taken on any projects recently that you're excited with?

I've always meant to take a sewing class, I'm glad to hear you have enjoyed it.

I ought o look into a class here. I have a sewing machine and know a few basics but classes would help to tune my technique.

Very proud of you. Tackle that machine and conquer the stitch!
