RIP Parrot

...and another one bites the dust. Mr. Parrot has joined the ranks in the grave-yard of stuffed animals. He is in good company with Mr. Squirrel, Mr. headless Purple Worm, The "indestructible" Skunk, and a couple of my sofa throw pillows.

Bird: I think Pete's killed his parrot.
Badger: Why don't you re-parrot.
Bird: (not laughing)
Badger: (laughing hysterically)
Pete: (smiling and working on de-heading another toy)

Yeah...I lost two pairs of shoes until I taught Tessie to leave them alone. She's the same way with destroying toys. Luckily, she just pouts now while I'm at school and hides my shoes rather than eat them.

Hope you're having a great Thursday!

Aw, poor parrot! My mom's black lab goes through about a toy a week. I asked, "where's the mooing cow" and was promptly reminded that he went to plush toy heaven weeks ago and has been replaced by the duck. :)

Why do dogs feel the need to rip apart all of their toys?? I keep buying them for my dog because it keeps him occupied. I guess its better than my furniture!

my cheese does that too, he has a live animal looking like toy fetish (minus his bo bo) i think he feels like he really killed it or something... and he loves to mutilate them... aka remove the stuffings.

Our dog has a big bird (stork) that we let her chew on once a week. It may last a year!

Our yellow lab doesn't completely kill her stuffed loves. Just some maiming...
We refer to all the half-stuffed as "dead." As in, "Go fetch you dead turtle." She seems not to notice.
Thanks for the laugh.
