Tuesday musings.

After a yummy dinner here with my mom and some friends, I have some "housekeeping" to take care of!

1. Excuse me mr. weatherman but it is April and it is not supposed to freeze anymore. My new plants do not appreciate it! at least its supposed to be beautiful for the rest of the week!

2. I had a few coupons for some new products from dove. So far I'm impressed! I tried the go fresh "energize" body wash and cream oil lotion. I don't like things with lots of fragrance and these were perfect! Does anyone have any good "glow" lotions for the summertime?

3. I need some blog friends help! I am the m.o.h. at my best friend's wedding in May. We are headed to the beach for her bachelorette weekend soon and I need some ideas on what to do! We will be there 2 nights, it is near myrtle beach, and there are 8-10 ladies coming (most of whom I do not know). Anyone been to a fun bachelorette party in that area before? Any suggestions?? We are thinking of having one night in and one night out...

4. I was so busy with studying that I haven't started looking for a rehearsal dinner dress or shoes for my maids dress. This is the dress only in a coral color with a fixed "cummerbund" sash. She wants muted gold shoes. Anyone seen anything good lately? (I don't mind heels, but not too tall! I am 5'8 already, but lucky enough to have a 6'8 bf!) I will probably switch to jack rodgers for the outdoor reception.

The rehersal dinner going to be here and is formal so I'll need a fancy dress! Seen anything good?

Thank you!

LOVE the Carolina Inn... so classy! For the wedding I am in in May, we needed muted gold shoes and found them on Ebay. We bought the J.Crew Lucie or Nora in Gold. As for dresses, again J.Crew has some cute ones. You can get some really good deals on those on Ebay as well. Hope this helps :)

Whoa, whoa, whoa! YOU were at Vivace!?!?!?! I was there, too...on my date!!! When were you there? We got there at 8. Also...the food there is GREAT!

The bachelorette party sounds like fun! I haven't ever been to one in Myrtle Beach, but I am sure you all won't have trouble finding places to go.

I have started using the Vaseline gradual sunless tanner and I love it! It doesn't have that funny smell and it is cheap.

Enjoy your week!

For a fun night in, do a panties and pizza party! Have all the girls bring panties for the bride and have the bride try to guess who they are from. Always hillarious to see where they came from.

Also, if you're doing myrtle beach, broadway at the beach has an awesome piano bar that is very bachelorette friendly! This place is awesome too (for a nice night out) : http://www.louisatpawleys.com/

I love the pizza and panties idea - so fun. I have also been using the vaseline lotion/tanner - it works really well but use it sparingly. I had a little snafu with it two days ago . . .
