Dog or Deer?

On the way to the farmer's market last weekend we decided to detour to the field that houses the police dog training course. The badger has been curious if Pete would/could complete the agility course. We got our answer! I swear Pete may be part deer!

The toughest obstacle? The ladder slide combo. After a few tries, the ladder wasn't nearly as scary.

He definitely enjoyed the leaping the most. Air Pete!

The 2 Bowl Challenge

Pete rarely gets excited about emails (he prefers peemails, but thats a whole different post.) When I clicked accept to a kind invitation from the folks at BzzAgent & BilJac I knew he would gladly accept the mission at hand: a 2 bowl challenge. Pete loves meal time so the thought of 2 bowls excited him to no end.

Before opening the bag, I asked Pete to conjure up all his will power so I could snap a photo. He begrudgingly obliged. Out went 2 bowls: one with his old food Purina One, and the other with Bil Jac.

He stared intently and couldn't wait for me to give the go ahead. He ran for his old food first and took one bite. Then, to my amazement, to abandoned his old food and went straight for the Bil Jac.

Nom Nom Nom. He loved it. But as suspected, he polished off his old food as soon as the new bowl was empty. There were no typical "dog food switcheroo" issues to mention to boot.

Pete gives it a two paws up. He seemed to like the high quality all natural chicken & whole grain formula of Bill Jac. Does your dog want to take Pete's recommendation? I have a few coupons for $10 off a bag of Bil Jac to try for your pooch, let me know if you'd like one!

This is a sponsored post. I'm a BzzAgent, & was contacted by the folks at BzzAgent & Bil Jac to try out their product. Pete was given a bag of Bil Jac in order to participate in the 2 bag challenge. The opinions expressed in this post are mine & Pete's of course!

We interrupt this silence ...

... for stinking cute dog collars courtesy of etsy seller Pecan Pie Puppies:

{Football Time}
Pete requests one to match his gameday collar

{Ted the Thankful Turkey}

I think Pete's added one to his wish-list.

Officially That Dog

My furbaby has officially become "that dog."

He realizes the dog-people of the park that carry bags typically have treats in them, and if he runs over and sits in front of them, they will give him one. He's found one lady who has the nice expensive fish treats that I wont buy. He followed her for a good 5 minutes today.

Sheesh.

Pete Loves Locopops!

If you live in the triangle area, or are even just passing through, I suggest you make a pit stop at Locopops. These proprietors of popsicles will never cease to amaze you with their fruity fun flavor combinations. (I even saw jalapeno chocolate and bacon last time I was there!) They also carry pupscicles for your furry friend in beef or chicken flavor. (All proceeds from pupscicles go to the humane society.)
Cherry-Lime is the perfect flavor for a hot summer night!
