Mom was really happy when she woke up this morning and said in her excited voice she uses when she wants me to chase a squirrel or see a friend in the park, "Peter, its snowing!"
So we put on my squall jacket Grandma gave me last year for Christmas and headed out to play.
We live in the South and don't get much of the weird fluffy white stuff falling from the sky. Actually I will be 2 in February and I've never seen it before!
Mom kept telling me "Peter its snowing" and I got pretty excited and tried to "gator chomp" the flakes. I do that with flies too. I thought the snow was little bugs but when it tasted it, I knew it was something so much better.
Mom tells me blogland likes pictures, so I posed a little for her this morning. Anyway, I hope she lets me dictate another post again. I'd love to type it but I'm afraid I lack operable thumbs. Dang it.

Pete's too cute. Love that you live in the South and own a squall jacket!!! I live in Vermont and my husband so doesn't want me to put a coat on our Lily. She'll be wearing one any way. I'll be sure to send Pete a pic of Lily all dressed in her coat and booties frolicking in 6 feet of snow!!
