The handyman left the bottom built ins and cut through the top of the wall to create a framed opening from the kitchen to the bathroom. We then selected the perfect shade of grey: Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter. It looked stunning with the granite and was perfectly balanced with the clients existing furnishings. Built-ins were created along the entire back wall of the family room, & painted along with the mantle a slightly deeper shade of glossy gray.
Once all the paint was dry, & the construction dust had settled, the zushing began. Did you know that well accessorized case pieces can make or break a room? I am thrilled with how they turned out! Years full of memories and books on display in a fresh way to make you smile every single day.

I can definaetly decorate with big pieces but I have a major mental block when it comes to accessorizing the walls, shelves, buffets etc. So much so that everything is put away and I still have yet to decorate the walls (though they have been painted) in three years! If I could have someone just accessorize and tell me where to put my nick-nacks, I'd be golden!
Wonderfully artistic arrangements!
The room does not have that "furniture store" feel, that many do. Very personal and welcoming! I hope the client is pleased. Good job!
Well done! I am forever tinkering with accessories in my own house.
Very cool! I may need your help with a few projects at some point.
