Red, White, & Blue in the High Country

We headed to the high country this weekend for a little R&R and to escape the brutal heat. We are so lucky to have a little retreat just a few hours to the west that always seems to have temperatures about 20 degrees cooler. One of the things I love most about being in the mountains is dining al fresco on the deck. We grilled up some fantastic ribs, paired them with fresh summer veggies, & some of our favorite Sonoma wine.

I really wish I had remembered to snap a few photos of our yummy dinner, alas, that didn't happen!
