Color Crazy

I love color. It fascinates me when just the right hue, value, and intensity can make or break a room (or an outfit.) Color tells a story and creates a mood. Being in the trade, I usually refer to color in terms of paint. This naturally led me to my Sherwin Williams fandeck when it was time to settle on wedding colors for my upcoming fall nuptials. I let my inner "design dork" out and came up with this palette:

Which leads me to my current dilemma. The tie I liked for the groomsmen is out-of-stock and won't be available until fall (cutting it too close for comfort!)

{Southern Proper's Butterbean Paisley}

Any suggestions of places to look? Hints, tips, or tricks? The badger likes bowties but may want the option of him in a bow, the others in traditional ties.
Thank you!!

I love your colors! :) That tie is perfect- too bad they are out :( We got the ties and bow ties for our wedding from Vineyard Vines (turquoise and navy though)...

Gorgeous colors! I love SP ties, too. Not sure if you've already tried this but have you called stores in NC to see if they have the tie? I've gotten desperate before and called stores in VA and lucked out in finding what I was looking for. Another option may be to contact Reagan (one of the owners) I've worked with her on silent auctions before and she's super helpful and may be able to help you. Let me know if you want her email.

Great colors!! I got my groomsmen ties at Macy's...I would say try to buy in person, colors on computer screens often are a little off! Good luck!

Have you looked at Ben Silver, here in Charleston? They have pretty paisley ties. Here's one that looks like the same colors as the one you picked.

Good luck!
