Favorites?

The Badger and I have started to think about our wedding registry, which can be a little overwhelming! With the seemingly endless options, I've decided on my fine china pattern by Anna Weatherly. It will look lovely with my family silver & crystal.
With us both loving to cook and bake our next priority has been researching cookware and kitchen gadgets. My favorite thus far:

The 90th anniversary KitchenAid mixer. Sparkly and red. Drool.
I've been wanting one of these beauties for a long while!

Do any of you recent newlyweds have tips or suggestions for our registry? Was there anything you wish you had or hadn't put on?

We absolutely LOVE our Le Creuset Dutch Oven. We have this in blue...http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/le-creuset-3-quart-round-dutch-oven/?cm_src=rel

My husband also loves the Le Creuset grilling pan to make steaks when you can't grill out.

I'll second the Dutch Oven - it was an impulse add to the registry and I use mine all of the time!

...and I also love my big serving platters in my everyday china pattern from Crate & Barrel. I am also so glad I registered for really nice bed linens. Can't beat 'em!

That china is just gorgeous, wow. As far as registries go, we're with Lulu on the Dutch oven, it is so versatile. And extra serving bowls were something we have used a lot.

Sending you a smile,
tp

I'm drooling over the thought of the Le Creuset Dutch Oven. I so wish we had put one on our list. We did get a Kitchenaide standup mixer, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!!! I also recommend a hand held immersion blender and a food processor.

Have fun registering!

I had no idea they were making a 90th anniversary stand mixer! Off to myregistry.com to switch out the plain one I picked out with this cool sparkly version!

I love that china pattern! I would be lost without my mixer except mine is boring and white - perhaps an upgrade is in order.

Your china pattern is beautiful! I love Anna Weatherly!

My favorite registry items were my Le Creuset dutch oven (I use it all the time!), my Cuisinart food processor, and my kitchenaid stand mixer. I also love using all of tableware. I am definitely much more traditional than most, but I loved getting all of the kitchen items and tableware.

We registered at WS and they were wonderful! The selection is great and the registry process is easy.

Enjoy all of your fun planning!
