What, you can't tell what those deep fried globs covered in powdered sugar are? Why they are the deep fried Oreos the girls tried (the epic proportions offered at the state fair baffled me. i could barely eat 1 Oreo, but they came in a 5 pack!)

If you guessed bacon dipped in chocolate you get an A+. The boys took the adventure with this little gastronomic gem. (i found it repulsive.)
Heard about the barrel monster? This mini-me version was spotted in the kids pumpkin decorating contest. Brava kiddo, brava.

There was deep fried oreos at an Arts&crafts festival where I lived. I had never heard of them before! There was also deep fried twinkies!

Awesome!! Fair food totally rocks. I've tried the twinkies and they were pretty good. But that filling gets really hot!
Saw on tv that the Arkansas state fair had deep fried bacon. Battered up real good!!!!

I love the State Fair! How fun! I think I'd actually like to try the bacon dipped in chocolate. i really love bacon and the combo of salty and sweet. Too bad Michigan's State fair doesn't offer such a variety of foods!

I have seen gourmet chocolate with bacon in it. Apparently its good, but you won't find me trying it (again...)
