minerals on my face

Upon reader suggestion I tried Physician's Formula mineral make-up in my quest for a new make-up. I had a bit of anxiety in the drug store deciding on what shade to choose as there were no "to try" versions open. Having pale skin with a yellow-undertone (you can tell I am color sensitive person can't you) matching shades is very important to create the flawless look. I settled on translucent light and it is perfect. I found the formula to be just as light and easy to wear as BareMinerals. It also boasts being 1/2 the price, coming in at around $12. (If you look hard too, many drugstores do a bogo on this from time to time.) While I can recommend the product itself with gusto, I do not enjoy the packaging. I use my own EcoTools brushes so the included brush (and holder) is useless to me. The "pop off" dome and subsequent "flip up" to reveal the holes which through the powder comes is awkward and does not allow for the "swirl, tap, buff" BareMinerals make famous. Brava to my reader recommendations of another great product!

I've been wondering about this product. Now I think I will buy it when I run out of my current powder!

Thanks for the information! I use Bare Minerals as well, but it is a little pricey! I have used physicians formula bronzer for a long time now, and will have to try this mineral make up when I run out.

Interesting...I've been using BareMinerals since I found out I was allergic to Mary Kay (which is only $18). I may have to try this next since it's cheaper!

Definitely Walgreens (and I think CVS too) will let you return make-up if it doesn't work. So get a coupon and try it there for the first time. And then once you know it works you can get it from Target or something afterward.

I THINK that was my rec because I've used that for years so I'm glad you like it! The trick with the packaging- you can break off that flip top and then the powder will shake out into the dome top, you can swirl your brush in the top. Just don't let it dump all over the place because the top will pop off and make a huge mess. Or, you could dump the powder into an empty BM container.
