Apparently my city can and did.
I'd recently heard the stories that with city government's budgets lacking they were making it up in other ways (ie speeding tickets and various violations.) Welp they are $100 richer of the Badger's money as of last night. Pete and his "blonde" friends, Ruckus & Charlie, were busted during their afternoon playtime in their favorite spot in the back of the park for being off leash.
Looks like its the leash from now on buddy!

My dog park is now requiring an extra license just to go. I hate to be a "B" but if I had kids they wouldn't have to have a license to go use the skate park or swings. I already have city licenses for them for Va beach AND I pay up the whazoo in taxes - isn't that enough?

Ohhhh... how *could* they ticket him? And honestly, thank you for the heads up, you are probably correct with the theory about municipalities writing more tickets because of their shrinking revenue situation. It's a shame you had a ticket, but the rest of us do appreciate the warning.

I guess that's the beauty of living in the middle of nowhere. Lily can be off leash for fetch whenever we want!!
