After a disastrous stint with flat, greasy, and just plain un-flattering bangs in elementary school, I was a little nervous when I walked into the salon and decided to request this haircut:
After several minutes analyzing with my stylist and asking, "You don't think it will make my face look too round/fat?" I took the plunge. She cut them in a way I can still pull them back with a headband if they annoy me. I think it was the perfect change I needed for fall and winter.
Brava to hair change!

Good for you for taking the plunge!! I'm excited for your new hair! That rocks!!
love that cut! congrats on being brave.
Congrats on taking a walk on the wild side! I wanna see it!! Hope you have a fabulous week!! = )
Proud of you :) I got my hair chopped off on Thursday, and I almost did bangs, too! Miss you!
Haha, I ALWAYS go with the "make them long enough so I can push them back if I change my mind and/or get annoyed" ;-)
I saved this picture from InStyle too for when I decide to chop my hair and add bangs! I bet your hair looks fabulous!
Good for you! I am always hesitant because I had bangs until I was 18. Maybe I'll get brave soon too! You've inspired me! :)
Yeah! I just got bangs myself recently for the first time since like 4th grade and I love them! Way to go :)
I am a big fan of trying something new with hair regularly! Good for you!!!
Also getting bangs this weekend! I feel the need for change of hair!
bangs are so fun- I was as nervous as I was when I did it earlier this spring- they are just so "now" and an easy way to totally change your look!
have fun with the new bangs!
and congrats on the prepschool 101 win- looks like you can get some nice makeup!

It's such a great style. Haircuts are a great pick me up.
Love it--I just got a similar cut and it's soo much less maintenance than longer hair.
this is a fabulous haircut! you should post before and after photos!!!
Sounds awesome!
