I did it...

I caved...

My friend L dropped off all four Twilight books last Wednesday for me. I'm through the original and 120 pages in to New Moon.

While I don't find them as the most eloquently written books they are an easy, quick, and very entertaining read.

I must be a tween at heart.

postscript: The badger is making total fun of me and every time he catches me reading he whispers, "say it" and I respond, "vampire." sheesh.

I got sucked into them too!
Every time I finish one of the books I kinda miss them and have to get the next one!

Agreed: not well-written, but certainly well-plotted with great character development. Every day it's rainy here (I live in WA), I want to pull the books out and read them again.

I totally got sucked in. They are not hard to read at all, which is why it's so easy to just read for hours and hours I think. But they are really fun and have good storylines! Enjoy!!

HA! The Badger is funny! That is something my fiance would do. We recently wachted the movie and he about DIED when Edward grabbed Bella and started running/flying up the mountain to show her what he looks like in sunlight. It was funny.

I have borrowed the first two books from a co-worker, but I think I may get them on disc and listen during my communtes to and from work.

Yikes, this is getting scary now... pretty soon we'll be the only one left who hasn't read them yet!

Have a wonderful week ahead!

LOL! I love it! I made fun of it until I was totally addicted...I've read them so many times now that I'm the joke. (oh yeah, and my mother has read all four books now too and also my friend at work...)

I'm on the last one...I'm going to try and stay up late tonight so I can finish because I can't stop thinking about them. I want to know what happens next. Hopefully once I finish I can get that Paramore song out of my head!
