When that little voice inside your head tells you whilest in the hardware store, "perhaps you should replace you fire alarm's battery." You should listen.
Consequence of silencing your inner Mortise the Safety Tortoise? The life saving device will shrilly beep every 10 seconds at oh, say, 3 am on a Wednesday morning.
Helpful hint? Know how to disconnect said smoke detector as your REM induced stooper will not make you the sharpest tack in the box.

hahaha i love how he is sleeping your bed!! xxxooo
One of our smoke detectors is always going nuts. We've replaced the batteries a billion times and it still goes off...and we can't fix it. Eventually it just stops. Super annoying.
o my! you have the cutest puppy ever.
Kid you not, the same thing happened to us last week. I couldn't for the life of me wake Nick up to take care of it... and he swore he didn't hear a bit of it the next day. jerk! ;-)
this is SUCH a familiar scene. my fire + carbon monoxide detectors drain batteries at lightening speed and ALWAYS wait until 2am to let me know of their dire straits. it's nice to know i am not alone!
This has happened to me before. Why is always in the middle of the night? I took it off the wall, still beeped. I took out the battery and it was still beeping. I eventually smothered it in blankets. Then, the next week the other one started doing it. Ha. Pete looks so snuggly!
SO cuddly. Thanks for the PSA.
That would be so annoying at 3 am! Ahhh!!! Someone thinks it's not too bad....I wish I could sleep like a baby like that!
Oh isn't he just darling!? Xoxo-BLC
Awww, how cute he looks! Happy as a clam!
Have a great Friday Miss BITC!

Pete's so cute! I love that you can see a little bit of pink skin under his fur.
