Guess who's back ...

I am! I apologize for a bit longer than expected blog-o-cation. While I have missed writing and reading all my wonderful comments, I have taken this time to really evaluate some aspects and try and find a direction to head. The end of June will be 6 months since I was laid off from my job and things in my field aren't looking on the up and up anytime soon. I also thought long and hard about the aspects of my job I loved, and the aspects I loathed. Since nannying, I've realized that I really have a talent working with little ones and it brings me great joy.

The light bulb went off when I met with a career counselor recently. I'm looking into a few fields that would combine my creativity and arts background with my God given nurturing and patient qualities. At this point in time I still don't know where I'll end up, but for the first time in a while I feel good about what I'm looking into. Through lots of thoughts and prayers I feel alot less stress, I'm at peace, and I am happy.

These turn of events have brought me back to Barefoot in the Park as well. I want to thank each and every reader for their time, comments, and support. The blog network is an amazing place and I have truly missed sharing my stories with you. I now feel re-energized and ready to write again!

And what would BitP be without a photo of Pete ...My friend L took this photo on a recent trip to the mountains. I think it looks like a political ad. Or maybe propaganda, "Vote Pete and All Your Dreams Will Come True!"
