Tulip Trees. I'm not sure this is the technical name, but they are blooming all over at the moment and are quite beautiful (and smell nice too!)
Tulips & Daffodils. These early springtime bulb buds look beautiful together!
Dogwoods. After all, it is our state flower!
Peonies. My hands down favorite flower. The are perfect pom-poms of pink!

oooh love tulip trees! peonies and lily of the valley tie for my fav' flower- cherry blossoms are also high on the list because the cherry trees by the Jefferson monument always bloom in time for my birthday :)
when it comes to arrangements- I'm all for a ton of the same kind of flower, not big on mixing and matching.

I think that the tulip tree is a type of magnolia. We planted a black tulip magnolia in our yard last year and I'm anxious to see it bloom! Flowers can do wonders for a mood also! I have to agree with you...peonies are beautiful and my yard is full of them! I also LOVE calla lilies and can't wait for them to come up!
I feel like a bandwagon rider, but I just saw ranunculus in person at Whole Foods on Saturday for the first time and they are so pretty! They are just so funky and vibrant, just love them!

Hmmm.... I love hydrangea, peonies, gardenia, magnolias, lillies, and even though it is kind of generic, roses :)
I love tulips in colors as well as hibiscus and anything besides red roses, i love white, peach or even purple... so pretty.... and magnolias... good post.. xoxo
Peonies are my all time favorite flower. I can't wait for the nurseries to get the bushes in so I can plant them. Tulips are my 2nd favorite flower! I love spring!
My favorite is the Lily. The day lily is the smartest flower I know - being that it closes it petals at night to go to sleep! Plus it smells lovely.
So pretty! I love star gazers. At least I think that is what they are called?
Ooh, magnolias, peonies, & lilacs are my fave. I love Springtime flowers!
I have a purple double bloom angel trumpet in my back yard that I love! Irises, tulips and orchids are at the top of the list.
I love tulips and dafodils! Also, day lillies and callalillies (sp?). Gosh I could go on and on....
I loooove that "tulip tree" but my favorites are definitely daisies!
