Barefoot Books: Belle in the Big Apple (& a little Bookswap info!)

The "Barefootbird's Bookswap" book I receive from Ashley Brooke Designs was , "Belle in the Big Apple," by Brooke Parkhurst. I enjoyed the lighthearted read about a true Alabama Southern Belle and her journey into Yankee territory & the world of cable news. The sprinkling of stories and recipes were a perfect combo for any chick-lit-foodie out there! While the ending left me yearning to know "the rest of the story," we can only hope Parkhurst will follow up with future Belle adventures! I even discovered that Ms. Parkhurst blogs! Enjoy!

I rather enjoyed my bookswap experience. How did the rest of you fare? I think I would like to continue and make the bookswap exchange a permanent feature on Barefoot in the Park. Would any of you lovely and talented bloggers out there like to make me a button? I'll place a list of which bloggers are offering what books in the sidebar. The more people know about the swap, the better potential swapping there is out there in the future! What do you think?

I love the idea! I exchanged two books and got two great books in return! I might have some time later this week to work on a button, but no promises. I made one for my blog and it took forever. We shall see if I can figure it out again...

If I can figure it out again, what colors would you like to see?

I would love to participate! I've got a ton of books that I'd love to swap out for new reads. I had a really hard time deciding what to read last night.
