The Badger (successfully) bribed me this evening to leave my cozy couch & "17 Kids and Counting" to run a few errands with him in exchange for a dessert Krispy Kreme run. Not only were the doughnuts delightfully sprinkled in pink, but fluffy white sprinkles started to fall from the sky! You'll just have to take my word for it since my photography is terrible. It really was snowing!
No doughnut run would be complete without a joke: (no, not the doughnut run aka The Krispy Kreme Challenge, that is Saturday. Yes, people really do run from the NCSU bell tower to KK, eat a dozen hot & nows, and then run back all in the name of the NC Children's Hospital. ESPN is covering this year's race!)
What do you call a doughnut in the snow?
A snoughnut. Muhahaha. (I'm afraid the sheet rock dust and living out of piles is getting to my brain!)

All our Krispy Kreme's are gone! So sad. Even the one near our apartment in NYC is gone, but at least it was turned into a cupcake shop! I guess a cupcake is as good as a snoughnut, I mean doughnut.
Haha! So funny! I haven't been to a KK since my sophomore year in college! I must go find me one!
I want a doughnut! And nice fresh snow would be lovely, rather than old nasty ice piles & cold weather!
My favorite Krispy Kreme...ahh, I want a doughnut now...alas, no KK's near me :(
There is seriously a doughnut run? How do people run BACK with all that deliciousness in their stomaches?
I won a contest at work and the prize was free dougnuts for a year...let me tell ya, I am at KK on the first of every month!
I seriously considered coming down for the Krispie Cream Challenge. Really. I have no doubt I could have devoured a dozoen donuts. alone. fast.
ooh I wish I would have known about the KK Challenge!! I would've been all over that!
That looks so good!
The KK sprinkles are my FAV doughnut! And how perfect in pink!??! I could easily eat 12 of them. But, I think I would totally barf if I had to run. Yikes! Happy Day, Pete!!!
