Surprises, surprises.

A trip to the farmers market to pick out pumpkins (a large orange one and a small white one now adorn my front stoop) started a fabulous Saturday.
The badger then told me to set aside a few hours. He would pick me up and I needed to wear old jeans, boots, and bring a hat. I did as I was told and was becoming very curious as to what surprise he had in store! The big surprise was trail riding on horse back! I used to ride all the time when I was younger but hadn't been on a horse in over 10 years. I LOVED it and had a great time! We even spotted a few doe on our ride. It was a perfect way to spend a lovely fall day!

Where do you guys ride at? I've been seriously missing out since the trails on Ebenezer Church Road were sold to developers (stupid Raleigh growth).

I picked out my pumpkin after church on Sunday at the farmers market! They are looking very nice on the front porch. However, Lucy for some reason keeps licking the pumpkin every time she goes outside - not really sure what that is all about! Where did you guys go riding? Nothing beats a fall ride. :)

oh wow, I am so jealous - those horses look beautiful! You just don't get them like that at British riding schools - they are all fat muddy ponies!
