I have sported this (zipper version) for several years and love it more and more each year!
2. Windows open sleeping while snuggling under a down comforter.
Lots of folks out there (especially in designer land) do not celebrate the down comforter with duvet cover. I for one break the mold. Despite never looking "neat and tidy" I love the feel of my duvet (and I love being able to toss the cover in the washer when Pete leaves a little smudge!)
3. Wellie Boots
I've had my eye on a pair of Hunters for several years and have yet to add them to my closet. I just received an email from Boden featuring their new patterned wellie boots. They are adorable and about half the price (and a coupon!) of Hunters to boot!
4. "Seat Heaters"
I am one of the lucky 1% of folks who live so close to work that the car doesn't really get warm by the time you get there. Seat heaters are the answer! They are one of my favorite features in my car!
5. Pumpkins
The Badger and I have a tradition of heading to the farmers market to pick the perfect pumpkin to adorn our front porches. I go for ones that will have the most "personality" when carved for Halloween!
We are off for the weekend to wedding # 1 of "the fall wedding marathon" 2k8. Have a wonderful weekend!

What a wonderful list! I love it! I also live across from a high school, so I get to listen to the marching band music, too! (This year they're doing a montage of music from The Police. It's kinda funny.)
Granted, I live in Florida so I don't get to use them often but my VW's seat heaters are divine. It's like sliding into a warm bath.
I know they will be used a lot when I move to St. Louis!
I have the brown Barbour jacket and love it. My wellies are PINK!!
Thanks for the comment. I would love happy Homemaker's Email...Thanks so mcuh!
I too love Barbour!
That's a great jacket, and would actually keep you warm in a barn. I've never experienced seat warmers, maybe I should look into those...
Just out of interest, how much are Hunter boots in the US?
I can't beleive they are $120!!! I wish I could open a brit store in the U.S. and sell them more affordably - it's such a dream!
I love your picks. I need some wellies and have still not broken down yet! Maybe I'll check out Boden!
hello! I totally agree with the duvet; it might not look neat, but it always looks fluffy and comfortable!
Have a wonderful day!
