Mojito's and More...

I felt like everywhere I turned in NYC there were Mojitos on the menu. From The Coffee Shop to Cafe Habana. The perfect taste for summer!

Barefootbird's Mojitos:

In an 8-10 oz glass place about 20 rinsed fresh mint leaves and 2 tsp of superfine sugar. With a wooden spoon "grind" the leaves and sugar together coarsely. Add 4-5 Tablespoons of light rum & 3 Tablespoons of fresh lime juice. Fill glass with ice cubes and top off with soda water...garnish with lime wedges and a sprig of mint. Voila!
