I had one of those "I definitely have someone watching over me" moments today. I was doing some work errands mid morning and was headed to staples. I was behind your typical work truck with ladders and such. Staples happens to be close to the car wash I like to go to and since my blue car is now a very trendy shade of yellow, i decided to switch lanes and check out the line at the car wash. Not one second after I switched lanes a ladder fell off the truck! Boy my heart skipped a beat. I pulled into the car wash and said a little thank you prayer for making me decide to make a pit stop! Isn't it funny how the lord works sometimes?
After that episode the rest of the day was spent preparing for the 8 8th graders coming to my office tomorrow for job shadowing. I'm pretty excited. Its neat to see young people excited about what you do on a day to day basis. I then headed to my first Jr League meeting which I'm pretty excited about. I'm ready to meet some new fun friends and make a difference in the community while doing it!
And now its time to unwind with a little dirty jobs and bachelor! :)

Whew! I'm glad that you're okay... You definitely had an angel looking out for you!
I'm jealous of you and Amelia. I'd love to be part of Junior League, but timing just won't work for a little longer for me.
How was last night's Bachelor? I DVRed it and will watch it later this week...
