I slept with my windows open last night. The bulbs hidden beneath the pansies in the clay pots outside my front door are starting to show. The daffodils are coming up in the park. Today it is supposed to be 78 degrees! If you cannot already tell, I love springtime and get quite excited when the first glimpses arrive (even if its February and I know it won't last! ahem, by the weekends highs are expected in the 40s. yuck).
The first peeks of spring also usher in the season of lent. This year as my Lenten "promise" I am going to make the bed every morning and have that be my quiet prayer time.
